Who is Matt E Rich?

Matt E Rich is a 100% REAL individual. He crafts epic street tales into quality music through is uncanny wordplay, witty punchlines and true-to-life stories.

A hip-hop nomad since birth, Matt E Rich has crisscrossed the east coast, honing his skills and building his credibility every step of the way. Influenced from an early age by the world around him, Matt E Rich is no stranger to difficulty and conflct. With a talent for painting lyrical pictures and a "no surrender - death before dishonor" mentality, he set to the lead on the forefront of the attention-deserving North Carolina Hip-Hop Scene.

His first full-length album, "Money Music," consists of over 70 minutes of hardened street rhymes and body moving club bangers. The album features guest appearances from local artists, like Nuke G, to the internationally known Roc-A-Fella artist Freeway and production by NC based heavy-hitters like Vanex, Maestro and Jason Frahm.
