Read moreYesterday, Trina celebrated her birthday and the release of her Back 2 Business mixtape, and today she’s facing a $50 million lawsuit.
According to a filing by Ominpresent Media and Lawrence “Amar” Right, the rapper backed out of an “America’s Next Top Rapper” online competition.
Trina was to appear on a three-judge panel for the event to be held on Dec. 30, 2011 in Dorchester, Mass. She never showed up despite pocketing a check.
Furthermore, Omnipresent alleges that Trina and her management team failed to promote the contest, of which an aspiring rapper was to win a $20,000 grand prize, a distribution deal with Universal, and work with a “hit production team,” among other amenities. “Plaintiff began to promote the event without the aid of the promotional material, plaintiffs were able to secure tens of thousands of dollars in contestant registration funds,” the complaint states.
The company covered flight and hotel accommodations in accordance with the demands of Trina’s manager, but the rapper never provided promotional videos to help publicize the event. “Trina despite being paid to do so never attended or participated in the competition in any form or fashion as agreed.”
Ominepresent alleges that Trina’s absence caused attendees to “become unruly and heckle competition participants,” and demanded refunds.
While the amount of money she was allegedly paid was not revealed in the filing, Omnipresent asserts that the 34-year-old was given 50 percent of the agreed upon fee. Trina, her Rarebreeed Entertainment company, its principal Josh Burke, the state of Florida, J Ego Entertainment, and Nunoise Travel, have all been named in the suit.
Read moreChris Brown and friends hit up one of Amsterdam’s coffee shops recently and got lit up like Christmas trees on some high grade weed.
In one pic Chris is seen puffing on three joints at the same time. The singer is still on probation for assaulting Rihanna in 2009. He tested positive for weed in September, but caught a break when Judge Patricia Schnegg decided that she would not revoke his probation because she had never imposed drug testing as a condition.
“You are not only in the public eye but you are on probation to me,” Schnegg told Brown. “You are on probation for five years and you still have a couple left. Your conduct is important.”
Brown doesn’t seem worried at all about his next probation hearing judging from the pics below.

Money Mitch has had this record out for the past 2 months now. I might be biased about this particular record but fuck the bs tho. This record has the whole Triad gone right now and its kinda funny that half the city can recite this record and still have no radio play. Thats a testament to how you cant hold a record back regardless of radio. Definitely something you all will here about in 2013 I'll put money on it.

Everyone is doing their part to help out the victims of Hurricane Sandy, including a friendly neighborhood weed seller.
While President Obama visited New York to take in the sites leftover by the storm, the unnamed Brooklyn dealer is putting his money where his mouth is.
Speaking to the Huffington Post on the condition of anonymity the man said he turned over $700 to victims in Queens, N.Y. “Look, there are probably some people down there [in the Rockaways area of Queens] who want some marijuana—but that’s not going to clothe and feed them,” he explained. “So in order for me to help, I needed to turn what I do into something concrete that I could give them.
Claiming to have made $1,400 from pushing Mary Jane over two days, the dealer purchased 50 wool blankets for residents in the area who are still without power.“Yes, I made a little extra money for myself those two days,” he said. “But [my clients] are getting something they already get anyway. I was going to work regardless, and now I felt like I was doing it with purpose. I’m not doing what I do in order to get rich or create some super marijuana empire. I’m trying to help, and is my job.”
Read moreThis is probably an hr old from the time I started typing this blog so its fairly fresh. It seems the two are at it over Chopper claims that he started the use of the term "Sosa". Ironically Sosa is a term past down thru hip hop from Scarface movie clips for years now. Here are a few tweets of them going back and forth. Hope this doesnt get serious but nowadays its hard to gauge who is real and who is fake.

If this comes to fruition this will definitely changed battle rap forever.

50 Cent took to Twitter to reveal that he has ended his relationship with Floyd Mayweather’s The Money Team. In a series of Tweets earlier this morning Fif’ stated that “TMT is Over”.
“TMT is over. The money team is no longer a team. So it’s SMS Promotions…that’s it, that’s all. I’m no longer a part or down with TMT Promotions. If anyone wants a Money Team jacket, I’m selling mine for a dollar. The snapback hat comes with it. That’s a fair price. I moved the fighters to SMS Promotions ’cause the other half of ‘the money team’ didn’t put up their money.”
The Money Team was boxing promotions company set up jointly by 50 Cent and his close friend Floyd Mayweather. Fif’ will now go it alone with SMS Promotions.
